Home made bread:)


 Home made bread... 


Delicious and healthy :)
We all know how important is the bread in our alimentation because it contains lot's of fibers (more info here:  http://www.cookingbread.com/articles/high_fiber_article.html) and vitamins.
Home made bread (from whole-wheat (5 big spoons) and white flour (2 spoons) with any seeds you prefer, I use sunflower seeds and flaxseeds and hot water and ferment.
Put them together and mix them until it become a dough. Leave it to grow in a warm place and then put it in the oven and leave it there for 40-45 min.
Enjoy the healthy bread with some light cheese and maybe some butter :).

Best cake of the year:)

This cake is made by a good friend of mine- the queen of cake's ! :-)
Because I was late  I miss the "first part-the white one" and that's why we do not have pictures, but if u fallow the recipe - you will do just fine :-). Enjoy the post and the photos, as we did with the cake :-))!...and please try it,  it's AMAZING!
" So this would be the first blog where I’ll post a first place cake made for the first time. Exciting exciting :D !
I’m presenting you a delicious chocolate and yogurt whipped cream. Pick up a pencil because here it goes:
For the yogurt whipped cream you’ll need: 300 ml whipped cream, 300 ml yogurt, 5 spoons of sugar, 2 gelatin packets.
You whip the cream with the sugar, and you know it’s ready when it holds its own weight, then you add the yogurt spoon by spoon but be careful  not to add more than it needs in one spoon, because it’ll lose its fluffiness. Add vanilla and rum if you like, I added some almonds essence to give it a little twist.
For the gelatin you need to warm up about a coffee cup of water, pour it on the gelatin and let it sock – stir it from time to time. After 15 20 min, mix the melted gelatin with the rest of the cake. Carefully fold the cake so it stays fluffy.. – aaand you’re done :D
Prepare a flat bottom bowl or whatever you want to use to give the cake its shape. Pour the mix in and let sit in the freezer for 2 3 hours.
And now for the chocolate part - around 300 g of chocolate bars, 150 g butter and 5 eggs.
The chocolate and butter are left to melt together over Bain Marie and meanwhile you can whisk the eggs. When the chocolate mix is ready incorporate it slowly in the egg mix - after that you can give it a quick whip with the mixer, and if it’s not chocolaty enough you can add a spoon of cocoa.
The result is poured into a baking pan and left in the oven for around 40 min at medium heat.
You know when it’s ready if the cake has the same color and it’s not too dark in the middle.
After it’s done you have to leave it to cool for a while.
 
You can put together the cake only when both parts are cool – and you can decorate with whipped cream and blueberries. It’s an extremely quick and easy cake to make and it will impress anyone, it has a very elegant look and tastes heavenly."

quick and healthy ;)

I was very hungry the other days and but I did not have the time to cook something special...so I made some potatoes...quick, healthy, and delicious’s...
So, you have to boil them for a while, because they loose ammonia and they became healthier and they do not make u fat :).
Do not leave them too much to boil...put them in a bowl and add spices: basil, rosemary, chill, thyme...or the one that u like, add a table spoon of olive oil, mix them and put the in a tray.
Put the in an oven, leave them for 15-20 minutes and enjoy them...

Mushrooms Part II

Take some mushrooms, wash them and put them on the grill or in a pan with some salt (makes them lose water and cook better/ fast).Let them cook for 10 minutes... in meantime chop some vegetables and put everything on a plate. If you like u can make a salad with the vegetables, but sometimes I prefer to eat them just like that...

It's not much but it one healthy lunch and I might add you can make it realy fast...So , please Enjoy:) the free time that you earned by cooking this fast/ healty meal,  for your own pleasure :)!

Shrimps

Ahh...it's been so long since I posted something...I have lot's of meals all ready prepered but I do not have the time to post them...
I hope you are hungry :)!
So, for today we have shrimps with salad, of course...
The shrimps part is very simple: take some shrimps, let them defrost (if they are frosty) wash them, and put them on a special stick for barbeque. Add spices, your favorites and let them cook on a grill.
The grill is very important in your kitchen- you can prepare lots of meals on it and the grilled food it's very healthy (because you do not have to use oil). If you do not have a grill,  please write it on you Christmas list...Santa will understand that eating healty is important to you :).
So, when the shrimps’ are on the grill you can make the salad: simple with anything you have/ or like from the fridge ( I used tomatoes, green lettuce, fresh onion, some lemon juice and some olive oil).
Take the shrimps from the grill, let the "rest" for a while, and add some salad near them and....

Lettuce salad :)

You need lettuce...I prefer the one in the picture because you can find it in purple...I know it's not a good argument but...I'll buy it anyway...Chop or brake the salad ( some believe that if you cut the salad with a knife it looses vitamins so that's why you can choose to brake it, if you belive this kind of stuff ) put it in a big bowl, chop some peppers, tomatoes ( and any vegetables that you like or you have in the fridge- cucumber, olives, hot peppers, carotts, etc.) and some cheese. Add a table spoon of olive oil, some lemon juice and any spices that you like. You can eat this salad for dinner or you can have it at lunch with a slice of toasted bread ( or maybe two ). Delicious’s, fast and more important healthy :)!
